Early in 1976, while living in Eagle Pass, Texas, A.J. Hausman created a wholesale meat distribution company by the name of “Almacenes de Tejas.” The company flourished, and in 1984, Hausman decided to expand to San Antonio. He incorporated in 1997, as well as introduced the company’s present name, ADT Inc.

Over the past decade and a half, we have increased our product line to include beef, pork, poultry, lamb, seafood, and other food products. Our purchasing power, once strictly limited to the United States, is now international, allowing us to compete in the U.S., Mexico, South America, and the Caribbean.
